Bloom Hemp Essential Digestive Tincture is formulated by Sunil Pai, MD., Maureen Sutton AyuD LMT RYT and is an homage to an age old Ayurvedic remedy that has been used for thousands of years world wide as a digestive tea blend. We have taken these ingredients and amplified them using the potentiating power of CBD to create a potent digestive aid.
Cumin, fennel & coriander are spices used in the western world to aid in digestion. Not only used in the western world, these three botanicals were often used together to make a tea that Ayurvedic practitioners have used for digestion for thousands of years. Using this as inspiration, we were able to create a potent version of this Ancient Tea. Once these active ingredients were introduced to our specific terpene blend and full spectrum hemp oil , we knew we had something special. The terpenes and CBD potentiate the values of the other active ingredients making the Bloom Essential Digestive Tincture one of the most well rounded digestive supplements on the market today.

Organic Sprouted Hemp Seed Oil: We use USDA Certified Organic Sprouted Hemp Seed Oil for all of our Bloom Essential’s tinctures due to its increase in bioavailability of omegas and vitamins. To get a sprouted seed, the seed must first go through a process called germination. This germinating process breaks down some of the starch, which makes the percentage of nutrients higher. It also breaks down phytate, a form of phytic acid that normally decreases absorption of vitamins and minerals in the body. So sprouted grains have more available nutrients than mature grains. Those nutrients include folate, iron, vitamin C, zinc, magnesium, and protein.
Coriander Extract: Coriander is a staple in most ayurvedic remedies that deal with digestion. Active compounds in coriander help breakdown enzymes in the stomach assisting with digestion. This helps ease bloating, gas, and other complications with an upset digestive tract.
Fennel Extract: Fennel is the second wave to our digestion trio and might be the most important. Fennel also works to help with inflammation within the gut. While it’s breaking down enzymes it’s also helping loosen up muscles in and around the stomach releasing gas and aiding in cramps. It also tastes just like licorice.
Brown Cumin Extract: One of our all time favorite digestive ingredients is Cumin. This ingredient acts as an accelerator and helps speed up the digestion process by increasing the activity of digestive enzymes in the stomach. There are not too many natural digestive aids out there that do not include this ingredient and for good reason!
